Kogi State Security Trust Fund donates 23 vehicles to security agencies

Kogi State Security Trust Fund has donated 23 operational vehicles, tyres and batteries to security outfits to improve safety of lives and property.
Speaking at the presentation of the vehicles in Lokoja, Chairman, Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Hon. Teina Abdulmalik said the gesture was in appreciation of the efforts and contributions of the security agencies in making the state more secure for people and investments.
Represented by the Public Relations Officer of the organisation, Mallam, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, the Chairman acknowledged the immense efforts and contributions of the Security agencies to stem criminality in the state.
In his words: “Kogi State has witnessed its fair share of criminal activities ranging
from kidnapping, cultism, and communal crisis, but, our security agencies have been working round the clock to nip them in the bud.
And with these vehicles, I know that they will do more in that regard. I urge them not to relent in their efforts in ridding the state of all forms of crime:”
Hon Teina promised that more operational vehicles would be procured for the security agencies and appealed to them to ensure regular maintenance of the utility vehicles.
He used the forum to applaud Governor Yahaya Bello, for providing all the needed support that has enabled the State Security Trust Fund achieve its mandate.
Speaking on behalf of the Security Agencies, the Comptroller of Correctional services, Kogi State Command, Alhaji Ahmed Musa, lauded the proactive efforts of the Trust Fund in curbing
criminality in the state.
He said the vehicles would go a long way in motivating the various security agencies to redouble their efforts in the fight against crime and pledged that the vehicles would be maintained to help the government achieve the purpose for which they were meant for.
